Five years ago a male lion came into power. He was a blood thirsty brute trying to rule the large African plains. The brute's name was Skolour. His mane was a deep charcoal black, as was his tail. Last year he was killed by a assassin from a faction within his own guard. Skolour's first born son Abril took command. He vowed to finish the deed his father started. The rebellion within the commons becomes more powerful each growing day and Abril is having difficulties keeping control. Any cat born with a black mane and tail is instantly put to death by the rebellion, but one day a kitten will escape the clutches of the rebellion bearing the markings of the black mane and tail. This cat will find a place within Abril's growing army and work his way up the ranks. He is loyal to his master in every way possible, until Abril kills his mother in his excessive need for pleasure. His mother had been part of the rebellion and was a key part in an assassination plot to kill Abril. She was to seduce Abril and then kill his while he was vulnerable. The prophesy cat is devastated and turns his loyalty to the rebellion. He will assasinate top cats in Abril's army and work his way up. Abril will admire him for his need for power and place him second in charge. That's when he will strike. Abril will be put to death. The prophesy cat claims Abril's army for his own. Problems soon arise though. The top cats are suspicious of the prophesy cat and plan to take his life. To live and save the cat world from devastation the prophesy cat must find his disloyal servants. Will he save them all, or will the African Plains become a lonely and deserted place in the future?
